Welcome to Wavfinder
Hey, I’m Isaac, but you might know me as Wavfinder. I’m an independent artist and creator from Denver, Colorado, with a big passion for making music and creating art. Wavfinder is my creative project, and the name I use to represent myself in my music. My goal is simple: to create art and content that is meaningful to me, and hopefully in the process I can create something that is meaningful to someone else. Wavfinder is about expressing myself, and connecting with people through my music.
What is Wavfinder?
Wavfinder is, at its core, a independent music project all about delivering versatile EDM tracks with a signature twist. My work spans a variety of electronic genres and beyond, including drum & bass, dubstep, trap, house, pop and more. I enjoy blending styles and experimenting with new ideas to create something unique with every track. I also create custom visuals and digital artwork to represent my music and brand, adding another layer to the experience and bringing my sound to life. Wavfinder is my creative outlet, where my passion for creating music and digital art come together. At the heart of it all, I create because it brings me joy and allows me to express myself in a way that feels true to who I am. My goal is to create something I enjoy and can be proud of, while sharing it with people who might also connect with it along the way.
My Music Career
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing guitar and writing music as a child and spent years performing in bands, but I never found anything that felt truly meaningful to me. That changed in 2017 when I discovered dubstep and fell in love with electronic music. It opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and I knew I had found my sound.
I began producing under the name Nuclear Ninja, focusing on heavy dubstep, and quickly immersed myself in the scene. During that time, I played shows across Colorado and even started my own record label and promotion company called Nuclear OG. Running the label gave me the opportunity to release my own music, support other artists, and organize events at local venues. It was an exciting and rewarding time, but as my career grew, I started to feel the pressures of the industry. Eventually, I rebranded to NVKE, continuing to focus on heavy dubstep but with a more polished and aggressive sound. However, the more I pushed myself creatively, the more I felt my passion drifting. I found myself constantly chasing trends and trying to meet the expectations of a single genre. Over time, the pressure to fit into a specific mold, combined with the burnout of being tied to one sound, led me to step away from music entirely in 2021.
After two years of reflection and creative reset, I rediscovered my love for music and created Wavfinder in 2024. This project represents a fresh start, one where I could focus on making music that feels authentic to me and not confined by trends or expectations. With Wavfinder, I embrace being a “genre chameleon,” producing tracks that reflect my love for a wide range of electronic styles, from drum & bass to house and everything in between. Proudly independent, I handle every part of the music project and creative process myself, from production to release, to ensure my vision comes through in every track and visual.
